Ann Marie brings a wide range of arts experience to Leeds Lieder. Former assistant director for Live Music Now South East, she enjoyed 8 years working with emerging professional musicians, managing participatory music projects for older people, children with special needs, and hospital patients.
Previously she developed the education programme for University of Essex art gallery during study for an M.Phil in History of Art. Early career began at the MacRobert Arts Centre Stirling as Press and Publicity officer, and later at Kings Theatre Edinburgh and Mercury Theatre Colchester. Her interest and passion for song stems from a family background of Irish traditional music.
