The festival featured six celebrity recitals, two world premières, new works from the Composers + Poets Forum, a Flamenco Song Workshop, a Schubertiade, a Masterclass, and events for schools and families in and around Leeds.
Artistic director and pianist, Julius Drake, festival guest of honour, Dame Margaret Price, Joan Rodgers soprano, Christianne Stotijn mezzo soprano, James Gilchrist tenor and the Endellion String Quartet alongside award-winning young artists from Yorkshire and beyond proved to be the recipe for a great weekend of song.
