FAMILY EVENT: Lieder for Little’uns

22 April - 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

£10
An immersive and informal performance for children under 5 and their carers.

Aimée Toshney soprano
Neil Balfour baritone
Ewan Gilford piano

Avast ye, me hearties! Join Pirate Captain Aimee, Bosun Neil and Ewan the Cabin Boy as they take to the seven seas of Lieder on their good ship, the HMS Artie! Little’uns will join the ranks of this motley crew to plunder the depths of the musical ocean and find a veritable booty of shipshape songs and shanties.

Soar up to the crow’s nest and meet the ship’s parrot, Polytonality, then batten down the hatches as we sail past an island of sirens singing their alluring song!

Will you become the scourge of the ‘high Cs’, or will you be forced to walk the plank!? With a ‘Yo ho ho!’ and a bottle of freshly squeezed orange juice, come on-board for an exciting musical adventure! Shiver me timbers!

This relaxed, family-friendly and informal concert is specially designed to introduce young children to the joys of the sung voice and piano. Aimée, Neil and Ewan are highly experienced workshop leaders and their programme will transfix toddlers, babies and grown-ups alike.

Tickets: £10 per Little’un (under 5). Grown-ups free when accompanied by a paying Little’un!
