Schubert: Die schöne Müllerin

Gerald Finley and Julius Drake enjoy one of the closest working partnerships of any song duo. Appearances at the world’s finest music centres, garnering accolades at every turn, and a discography that includes a record number of Gramophone Awards marks them out as interpreters nonpareil. Their recording of Schubert’s Winterreise is, for many, a benchmark recording. For Leeds Lieder, they turn to Schubert’s other masterpiece of lost love, nature, and of tragic mental breakdown, his Die schöne Müllerin.
