Winterreise: Pre Concert Talk by Dr Clive McClelland

Dr McClelland of the University of Leeds, will explore the idea of the wanderer in relation to the winter landscape, with a particular focus on Schubert’s portrayal of storm imagery.
Booking is not necessary, but concert ticket holders are advised to arrive early.
As an additional treat, Ian Bostridge’s book ‘Schubert’s Winter Journey: Anatomy of an Obsession’ will be on sale. Ian will be available to sign copies after the concert.
