Louise Alder’s most recent season saw her reach the finals of the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2017, win the Dame Joan Sutherland Audience Prize, and the Young Singer Award at the International Opera Awards 2017. She gave a triumphant recital for Leeds Lieder’s Strauss Survey. Her début recital CD with Joseph Middleton has been met with universal acclaim including Sunday Times Disc of the Week and Editor’s Choice in both Classical Music Magazine and Gramophone Magazine.
