Austrian mezzo soprano Sophie Rennert made her UK debut at the Leeds Lieder Festival in April 2017 with Graham Johnson.
A graduate of the Vienna University of Music and prize-winner in numerous prestigious competitions, she appears in Sheffield alongside Leeds Lieder Director Joseph Middleton fresh from recitals at Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie and Vienna’s Konzerthaus.
Programme to include Schubert songs on the theme of Winter, as well as Christmas songs by Wolf, Michael Head and Rodrigo.
