Lancaster-born Amanda Roocroft has secured an international reputation as one of Britain’s most exciting singers performing regularly at Covent Garden, the Met, Glyndebourne, the Bayersiche Staatsoper, and at ENO where she was won the Lawrence Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Opera.

Her recital career has taken her to London’s Wigmore Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the Musikverein in Vienna, New York’s Lincoln Center, La Monnaie in Brussels, as well as appearances in Munich, Frankfurt, Paris, Valencia and Lisbon. In this masterclass she steers our Leeds Lieder Young Artists through their chosen duo repertoire.
