- This event has passed.
We are delighted to be supporting new and rising talent presenting the Royal Academy of Music’s elite ‘Song Circle’ in recital in partnership with and as part of the Leeds International Concert Season at The Venue, Leeds Conservatoire on 29 November 2023 at 1.05pm.
Founded in 2004, the Academy Song Circle offers students the opportunity to hone their skills in the art of recital singing, with specialist coaching and performance opportunities within the Academy and at external venues around the UK.
As well as performing as part of our own concert series, the Academy Song Circle gives annual recitals at the Wigmore Hall, Austrian Cultural Forum, and in recent years has also appeared at the Oxford Lieder Festival, Kings Place, the Queen’s Gallery, and the National Gallery. Academy Song Circle has made three CD recordings: Songs of Spring, Songs of Seduction, and Goethe’s Girls and Mörike’s Men.
In this recital titled ‘All Roads lead to Rome’, songs by composers from all over Europe are performed, celebrating Italy and its rich culture.
