Watch: Leeds Lieder Festival 2023
We were thrilled to be able to record two exciting events from the 2023 Festival: the Closing Gala recital with Sir Simon Keenlyside and Joseph Middleton, and the Young Artists Showcase. These are available to view below, hosted on our YouTube channel with a substantial archive of Leeds Lieder recitals free to watch on-demand.
We are committed to breaking down barriers and making great music available to all. Your donations remain essential to us being able to deliver this work, so please do make a contribution to our Leeds Lieder Angels appeal crowdfunding campaign if you are watching our work online and wish for us to be able to record and share our future events.
Filling the city with song since 2004
Leeds Lieder celebrates the performance and composition of song and of poetry in many languages. Between our annual festivals, we hold a lively programme of concerts, talks and educational activities in co-promotions with the Howard Assembly Room at Opera North, Leeds College of Music, the University of Leeds and Leeds International Concert Series.
