In a very short time, Fatma Said has taken the musical world by storm. The first Egyptian to perform on the main stage at La Scala Milan, and a graduate of the BBC New Generation Artist Scheme, she has won a legion of fans through her recitals and recordings. Song is one of her greatest passions, and recent tours alongside her regular duo partner, Joseph Middleton, have taken her to the Vienna Konzerthaus, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Schubertiade Schwarzenberg and Wigmore Hall. Her programmes are as thought-provoking as they are eclectic.
